DARR Publicity is a boutique pr agency founded in 2002 by owner David Gibbs. David runs a very selective shop and his philosophy about publicity is simple - he only takes on projects that he believes in. With that, many good things can and will happen on the pr front. There has got to be a certain magic that he feels about a performer, company or show that compels him to take on a project.

David provides individualized attention and takes pride in consistently securing strong press returns for each client. Important follow-ups are made with all the key people in town to obtain the maximum amount of press. Anything less would be unfair to you, and the attention your project deserves. David looks long term when working with a client and values his relationships with numerous theater/dance/multi-disciplinary companies, performers and producers.

David Gibbs of DARR Publicity is available for projects in the NYC & Boston/Cape Cod/PTown area. Please contact him at least 2 to 3 months before your show’s opening or cd release date (a 4 to 6 month advance notice is most preferable).
